This policy explains what personal information LOW Works collects through this website, lowworks.co.uk, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. We keep it short and collect as little as we can.

Our apps have their own privacy policies: Tenventory and Roomprint.

Who we are

LOW Works is run by a sole trader trading as LOW Works, in the United Kingdom. We're the "controller" of the personal information described here, which means we decide how it's used and we're responsible for looking after it.

For anything about your data, email hello@lowworks.co.uk.

What we collect and why

When you use the contact form

We collect your name, your email address, the topic you choose and your message. We use them only to reply to you and, if you want to work with us, to talk about your project.

Our legal basis is legitimate interests: replying to people who've asked us something. If you're asking about working together, it's also to take steps you've asked for before entering a contract.

We don't add you to a mailing list, and we never sell your details.

To stop spam

When you send the form, our server turns your IP address into a scrambled code (a one-way "hash") that can't be turned back into your IP address. We use it only to limit each visitor to five messages an hour. Our legal basis is legitimate interests: keeping the form free of spam.

When you email us

If you email hello@lowworks.co.uk, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message, and use them in the same way as contact form messages.

When you visit the site

Like almost every website, our host's servers automatically record basic technical details for each visit: your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These logs keep the site secure and working. Our legal basis is legitimate interests.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how people use this website, such as which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from, so we can improve it. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as your device and browser details, your approximate location and the pages you view. We don't use it to identify you, and we don't use it for advertising.

We only turn on analytics cookies if you agree in the cookie banner, and you can change your mind at any time using the cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. If you say no, the site works exactly the same. Our legal basis is consent.

The site sets no other cookies.

The website's fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers and shares your IP address with Google when you visit. Google Fonts doesn't set cookies.

Who we share it with

We only share your information with companies that help us run the site and reply to you. Each one works on our instructions under a data processing agreement and may only use your information to provide its service to us.
