# Roomprint

> Roomprint is a floor plan app from LOW Works. It uses the LiDAR scanner on a Pro iPhone or iPad Pro to scan each room and build a measured floor plan, which you can view in 2D or 3D, decorate with paint and flooring, and print or export to scale (PDF, DXF, IFC and more). Scanning and planning are free; a one-off £9.99 unlock adds printing and exports, with no subscription and no account.

Key facts:

- Made by: LOW Works (https://lowworks.co.uk)
- For: homeowners and renters planning furniture, decorating or quotes; also estate agents, architects and builders using the PDF, DXF and IFC exports
- Scanning devices: iPhone 12 Pro or later Pro / Pro Max models, or iPad Pro 11-inch (2nd generation) or 12.9-inch (4th generation) or later. Requires iOS 18 or iPadOS 18 or later.
- Viewer mode: any iPhone or iPad on iOS 18 / iPadOS 18 can open plans scanned on a Pro device and synced through iCloud Drive
- Android: no Android version
- Price: scan and plan free. Roomprint unlock £9.99 one-off: printing, PDF drawing sheets, PNG, DXF, IFC and USDZ exports, sharing without the preview mark, and spreadsheet exports of room areas and shopping lists. Viewer mode is free; printing and exporting need the unlock.
- Accuracy: usually within a few centimetres in a typical room. Mirrors, large windows, dark walls and clutter can reduce accuracy; check key measurements with a tape for made-to-measure work.
- Account: none needed. Purchases are linked to the user's Apple Account.
- Data: plans stay on the device and in the user's own iCloud Drive if sync is on. LOW Works has no server that holds plans. Location is optional, used only for the north arrow and street address on printouts, and isn't sent to LOW Works.
